Snikr

A technically versatile artist, Snikr’s roots are planted deeply in urban culture. She has degrees in both Animation and Illustration Design, and has worked as a professional mural artist, illustrator and artist manager for over 15 years. She dedicated the beginning of her career to the growth of Canada’s graffiti movement and revitalizing disadvantaged communities, and went on to work in the commercial field. Though she currently lives between Montreal and Miami, she is constantly traveling and has done creative projects/painted murals in cities across North America. Drawing from her broad range of artistic knowledge, she has partnered on many successful commercial projects for high end clients, as well as created many works of personal art for a multitude of cities and communities. In her personal work, Snikr has explored a variety of mediums and styles, from traditional painting and sculpture to digital illustration/design, portraiture, graphic novels and caricatures. She carries these influences into her murals, combining an illustrative approach with dynamic compositions and unique concepts. Her work is a soulful reflection of life, capturing the energy of the environment surrounding it.
