Mega McGrath

Born and based in Vancouver, BC—Mega McGrath is a painter and multidisciplinary designer. Her work explores the human condition and its relationship to nature, time, and space. She works on a wide range of personal and commercial projects in her studio practice, with a current focus on world-building. With past clients such as Ivanhoe Cambridge, QuadReal, Downtown Van BIA, and Icona Developments. As well as collaborative projects with brands such as Nike, Arc’teryx, Tiffany & Co, Red Bull Music, and Reigning Champ.

Mega began studying Communication Design at Emily Carr University in 2010 and later received a certificate in Typeface Design from Cooper Union in New York. The study of graphic design and typography has had a profound influence on her painting practice, serving as the foundation for her expressive, graphic, and bold style often featured in her murals and paintings.
