Frank Quintero

Chicago based artist Frank Quintero’s use of bold colors and imagination create energetic paintings that declare to be seen. Working with acrylic, aerosol, and other mixed media, his artwork redefines spaces and offers a sense of endless possibilities to viewers. Celebrating mid-century American abstract artists, Frank’s paintings challenge the viewer’s perception of art and how it is interpreted within cultures. From painting graffiti in the 90’s on city streets, to receiving his BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a Presidential Scholar, Frank continues to elevate his professional art practice while bringing his work to new audiences.
