Gabrielle J. Poteet

Gabrielle Poteet is a studio artist and muralist from Chattanooga, TN. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. Her work explores the abuse of power within institutions nationally and internationally through the use of large-scale charcoal drawings. She is part of the mural team “Color the World Bright” under the mentorship of artist Joseph Norman to bring business and joy back to cities all over Georgia. Her work with Coca-Cola and has been featured in articles in Garden & Gun and the Atlanta Journal Constitution among others. She is now looking to relocate to New York and immerse herself within its creative community, while continuing her career as a mural artist.
