Jersey Joe / Rime

Best known for his explosive use of color combined with dynamic lettering and innovative characters, Jersey Joe aka Rime started painting graffiti in 1991 in Staten Island and spent many years mastering his style throughout New York and New Jersey.  Rime is considered to be one of the top modern graffiti artists in the world.  He achieved international recognition for his distinct aesthetic by 2003 and moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to concentrate on fine art.  Currently residing back in New York City, Rime has been focusing on the abstractions of his decades of graffiti experience translated onto canvas.
