Marlon Pruz

I was born an artist. Ever since I was a tiny infant, everyone around me knew it was what I was always destined to be. To me, breathing and art are the same thing. My goal as an artist is to project what I visualize in a way that entertains, confuses, and evokes something to whoever views it. My intricate line work and detail make the viewer feel as though they are being tangled up into the work and hypnotized into the piece. Each work is composed of Millions of lines placed together to form the illusion of something tangible and real. My work is about having fun and creating interesting imagery by manipulating common themes in a way people have never seen before. I feel that experimentation and getting out of your comfort zone is the most important rule of creation, and fundamental in ensuring your work never plateaus. I constantly search for new ways of making art. Whether its drawing on clothes, painting with bleach, doing stop motion animation, sculpture, photography, or even music; I never stop seeking for a new outlet to manifest creativity.
