Atlanta based artist Mike Z. began his creative journey in 2003 spray painting graffiti murals in his hometown of Wisconsin. The dedication to his artwork quickly opened up opportunities and by 2007 he began to paint artwork for local businesses. His quick advancements in commercial artwork caught the eyes of his peers and in 2011 he was offered a position to relocate to Atlanta, GA as a full time scenic set painter.

Mike’s ability to paint in a wide range off styles and techniques has allowed him to thrive in his field. His work is as versatile as the features he has worked on, with notable productions including: Hunger Games 2, Guardians of the Galaxy vol2, Rampage and The Walking Dead. His roots and continued contribution in the graffiti community have not gone unnoticed. Zipper has been a featured artist in graffiti events both national and abroad. Most recently, Mike Z was recognized as a key member of the freight graffiti movement by being featured in the Beyond the Streets art show in Los Angeles.
