Street Art Collage

MAC was recently commissioned for a private residence in Southern New Jersey. The client asked that we include a few personal messages into the colorful street art style collage. Along with creating a eye catching piece, it was equally important to distribute the street art pieces throughout the space’s multiple surfaces. The distribution of the pieces helped create an authentic graffiti scene. Furthermore, it helped create a feeling of movement throughout the space.

The graffiti collage serves as a homage to the client’s New York City roots. The client presented us with a few key words to smoothly integrate into the mural. We mixed various graffiti lettering styles and techniques. In addition, we balanced a variety of colors and textures. The mural contains many different layers. Undoubtedly creating depth to the graffiti collage and urging the viewer to look for hidden eggs throughout the piece. Without a doubt, our favorite is the tribute to Leon Redbone. The acclaimed musician was a previous owner. We highly suggest you check his discography if you’re unfamiliar with him.
