Taylor Gallegos’ art is about the ways we connect.  Every painting is an effort to find common ground with the viewer.  Whether it be through light and shadow, color, or the message in the work, the focus is commonalities.  Artwork transcends borders, skin color and material differences.  It can be a tool for Good, and that’s his aim.

These days when working on canvas you will find Taylor’s creative flow is in our connection with the natural world in terms of environmental awareness, flow state, and the relationship between color and process in his creative flow.  His work is an explorative journey through life and philosophy of what it means to be a human living in this world in this period of time.  Sometimes it can be very literal, sometimes it can be very abstract.  His fine art covers the ground of drawing, painting, multimedia, and everything in between.
