Mural Artist Collective

MAC is an artist collective founded by Valentino Mikalef and Victor Fung in 2015. Their interest for Graffiti art, street art and design brought them together with their sights of designing and painting large and small scale art across NYC. In short time their work expanded from commissioned and public murals across the 5 boroughs to having opportunities to apply paint around the U.S. and globally.

The collective has expanded to include additional versatile members across the U.S. This diverse collective is able to take on any mural and design challenge. From murals and designs with total creative freedom to collaborating with clients in making their ideas come to life.

Jenn Veal

Jenn Veal is a Hispanic visual artist and muralist whose art, often inspired by her own experiences, is a whimsical celebration of nature, magic, and femininity. Over the last decade her work has been displayed in private collections, local galleries, publications, festivals and other public spaces. She specializes in portraiture and color, and enjoys working in a variety of medium to connect with her audience. Jenn is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

New Balance Interactive Mural for Bronx’s 10 Mile Race

MAC partnered with one of our favorite clients New Balance, to create an engaging mural. We painted an interactive photo op at the finish line of this year’s Bronx 10 mile race. The canvases were two layers of murals that worked together.

The background 8×12′ mural was designed & painted by Bronx native CES. Painted in an illustrative and classic graffiti style. Depicting iconic elements that make up the Bronx. In the foreground, the mural was a design by Greetings Tour and executed by our Graffiti USA team. The BRONX letters in the font style often used for their Greetings murals. The mural was an 8×8′ clear plexiglass canvas. By not filling in portions of the design, the foreground piece was see through. It allowed participants to take photos in front of or behind the piece. This gave everyone an opportunity to become part of the artwork!

Melanie Posner

A muralist with a passion for transforming spaces into vibrant, joy-filled realms where every brushstroke tells a story. Specializing in portraiture and floral work, I’m here to sprinkle a little magic into your world.

My journey as an artist began in the world of oil painting, where I honed my craft and perfected the art of using color to evoke emotions and tell stories. Citi x Olympics – Rio on the Hudson Event

During the 2016 Olympics, MAC collaborated with Citi to create live artwork for their “Rio on The Hudson” event at Pier 26. Each artist painted a live mural over the course of a few days.

The murals made for great photo ops for attendees throughout the events. Check out some photos of the completed murals below with an amazing backdrop of the Freedom tower and lower Manhattan!

Mila May

Mila May is a Ukrainian born, multi-disciplinary artist based in Las Vegas, NV. She marks the start of her career during COVID-19 lockdown when she, along with other artists initiated to beautify the boarded up businesses in downtown Las Vegas. Later this project sparked the creation of a city-wide grant, in which she participated as well. Using bright colors, bold shapes and minimalistic figures she explores different themes ranging from illustrations grounded in history to whimsical world building.

NOLA Canvas Artwork for TV Series on Starz

MAC recently partnered with the renowned visual artist Brandan “BMike” Odums in New Orleans. In collaboration with the Starz team, we curated a series of spray-painted canvases that were displayed at an event to promote upcoming seasons of multiple shows on Starz.

The goal was to create excitement for the new series “America to Me”, “Warriors of Liberty City”. Also, to create buzz around the newest season of “Power”. It was clear from the start that BMike was the perfect artist for the project. His ability to create powerful work from stories of struggle and perseverance. All while painting beautiful masterpieces. The artwork for TV he created combined spray paint textures, text, icons and portraits.

BMike applied his signature style to each painting. BMike created original works that captured energy and themes of each show. Inspired by the theme “Know Your Power”. He was also able to hit on the broader mission of Starz as a champion of difference. In addition, we provided an added bonus of a similar themed piece for the show “Vida” created after this event.

The results were clear. The paintings transformed the space, encouraged relevant dialogue and promoted the Know Your Power messaging for all influencers and attendees of the event.

Janice Rago

Janice Rago was born in Hawaii and grew up moving around the world. Her young life was molded from cultures of the Pacific, Europe and South Georgia. With that background her style has developed into a diverse and eclectic collection of figures and styles. She focuses on feminine beauty while exploring new mediums and techniques to bring her work to life.

Elaine Stephenson

Elaine Stephenson is an Atlanta artist and muralist creating bright and colorful art with positive messages to uplift and inspire.

She draws from her personal experience with anxiety and depression as a means to create art that focuses on the beauty of life and encourages others. Born in Atlanta, she studied graphic design at the University of Georgia, which ignited her love for typography and bold design. After a 10 year design career, she now combines both her strategic design skills and an artistic voice to create art that enhances spaces. Elaine is very involved in public art and has several large permanent murals around Atlanta, such as a basketball court, bridge underpass, and a parking garage entrance at Atlantic Station. Her fine art has been exhibited at ABV Gallery, FreeMarket Gallery, Cat Eye Creative, MINT Gallery, The Print Shop, Empire Arts Gallery, and Arches Brewing. Stephenson has been featured in publications such as the AJC, Arts Atlanta, Shoutout Atlanta, Reporter Intown Newspapers, City Lights on WABE, and the Atlanta Street Art Map. She lives with her husband and cats in Decatur and outside of art enjoys yoga, traveling, and consuming too many chai lattes.
