Forter is a digital commerce platform giant providing fraud prevention. They came to MAC interested in a live mural painting during an event at the Nike NYC – House of Innovation Store. The event was for a panel of leaders and industry experts in retail. The leaders were present to discuss the balance between digital growth and customer experience. Our mural was one of the engaging highlights to the evening. In addition to the mural, attendees had the ability to create their own complimentary Air Force 1’s! Undoubtedly our favorite Nike kicks!
We worked closely with Forter to develop the mural design. We assessed their creative goals for the mural. Then we assigned the graffiti artists for hire we thought fit best. For this mural it was important for the artwork to communicate relevant elements that reflect the brand. Of course we highlighted several key components to the digital commerce platform. Especially- Identity, multiple layered security, brand color palette and technology.

MAC goes to the city of Brotherly Love, Philly! Broadridge Philly to be exact. Broadridge is located in one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant neighborhoods – Fairmount. The architects for the new building commissioned MAC to design two murals. We designed the mural digitally. And then vinyl installers placed the murals in each area.
Our hallway mural is abstract in aesthetic. But there is a story behind the visual. Clearly, the artist considered the city and the local area to create a story for the design. This hallway mural design consists of urban and industrial washes. Firstly you see rough concrete textures and graffiti scrawling. Then you see graffiti lettering in a pattern like form with the message of Brotherly Love. The words pulled from Barack Obama’s Race Speech. The speech delivered in Philadelphia at the Constitution Center in 2008. The industrial vibe is juxtaposed by different textures. Textures that represent natural design elements – water and greenery. These design elements represent the neighboring park and river. The message of a well balanced neighborhood. Of course that being Fairmount in Broadridge Philly.

The Houston office of Global architecture firm Gensler came to MAC with a project for elevator company TKE’s new Atlanta HQ. Housed in a tall building, the location serves as the new offices and elevator testing / development site for TKE. Employees moved to ATL from all over the country and world to work in this facility. Gensler wanted to represent different elements of Atlanta culture via art in different spaces on various floors. Our remote creative team and Atlanta based team member brainstormed a few recognizable icons and Atlanta touchstones for the layout and stayed pretty true to TKE’s branded palette. MAC artists painted on plywood panels off site and later installed with z clips in the pre designated area. The fasteners were used so that the panels can be taken down, sold or donated and new art cycled in.
